My Give Back

As I embark on this journey with Rodan + Fields, I want to be mindful of how we can all make a difference in this world.  That said, I have decided to partner up with Justice Ministries here in Charlotte, NC as my platform for giving back a portion of my proceeds from each and every sale.  Justice Ministries is a non-profit organization that is committed to combating sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of women, with a focus on rescue & housing.  Recent news reports indicate that Charlotte is consistently among the top 8 cities in the country for this type of crime.  As R+F grows to empower women everywhere, I want to be sure to never forget the hundreds of thousands of women out there that are forced into slavery every year, especially when many of them are right in my own back yard.  

Below you can watch a short video where Mark Blackwell, the founder of Justice Ministries, takes a crew from National Geographic around to explain what his organization is all about and how prevalent sex trafficking is in Charlotte, as well as all over the United States.  In a recent conversation I had with Mark, he explained to me that my contributions have paid for the relocation expenses for one young woman who was in a dangerous and exploitative situation to get out of her situation, receive immediate care, and get to a safe place.

Since my first paycheck with Rodan + Fields, I have committed a portion of all of my sales to support Justice Ministries and their amazing efforts to combat human sex trafficking right here in Charlotte, NC.  From my first donation to my most recent, I have seen a 287% increase in my contribution.  This is ALL because of YOUR continued support of my growing business.  Together, we can spread the word even further and help rescue more women!
